Just because our paint is 9 years old...
does wax take off water marks and stuff?
everytime i go to wash my car i scrub and everything and i cant get water marks off from around the windsheild washer fluid squirters, wind guard for the sunroof, the windows/windsheild, or the nasty look my bumper has. but the bumper is plastic so thats excusable.

polish?...with what...
i was thinking if i buy a buffer i might be able to get some stuff out easily, just a cheap one from walmart.
i havent taken much time to wash and wax my car thoroughly though becasue there are other things to do to it and the next day i've got a new layer of pollen on it anyhow.

It seems like I get a new scratch almost every month, some of them pretty damn severe for no apperant rason. I havnt had time to do anything about it so far, but i would probably need to get the work done professionaly anyways.

This one was back in April, Meguiar's 3 Step Program (Paint Cleaner, Polish, Gold Class Wax). This car is soon going to see a Porter Cable instead of the $20 buffer I used, with Sonus and Klasse products.

How do you guys keep from getting little bits of wax in in the door moldings and tight areas? I always end up with a small amount of dried wax on the grill, in between spoiler and trunk (mounting area, not the HUGE flat area), and the door moldings.
The doors on my Max is so dinged up that it's almost pointless for me to try and go thru all this work to make my car shine like the cars in here. This cheap Maaco paint job that I got 2 years ago is falling apart. I'll just wait til I get a new paint job and start caring about keeping my car looking shinny.

i use the detailing brushes, they work nice and without any work really.
