I had this problem a few months ago. The EGRC valve is a small sensor located close to the throttle body. Its only function is to receive signals from the ECU which then tells the EGR valve when to open/close.

Note: a faulty EGRC will not cause your car to stall- at least not for me. If the sensor is faulty, it just means your EGR system isn't functioning properly.
Here is a link that may help:

I replaced mine for under $50 and the code went away. Now that it's stopped raining, I was able to snap some pictures for you...should help you locate the sensor. PM with your addy if you want the pics.

Yeah, your emissions may go up (mainly NOx) but that should in no way impair performance. You need to look elsewhere for stalling issues ie. vacuum leak, etc. Pretty easy to test for the solenoid functionality.

Geez, this is giving me a headache. I have had soo many problems in the past year. Im not so sure if the car is worth it anymore.
but what i remember most is that not stalling much, but more of a sudden loss of power when driving around then power comes back in a second. when coming to a stop, idle drops like its going to die.
but i was stalling most when my fuel injector was crapped out. I got it replaced and just got this new CODE.
