i have also only heard bad things. like an overpriced ebay one; prone to snapping. never had one myself though.

well you heard wrong, im selling the short shifter that the guys referring to. its great for reducing throws and i havent heard anything about it snapping, only the cheap fake nismo ones you see on ebay are prone to snapping. the only problem i did have was that i didnt come with the grease for the pivot ball, which isnt a big problem, all you need to do is use some petroleum grease.

you can read the review here..

the custommaxima STS is really the pacestter.....It is a good shifter and unlike the idiot above said, it does not suck. The goos thing about it is that it is adjustable. It is alot cheaper than the B&M.

The bad thing with it is that it is aluminum. It makes it more knotchy but it doe not break. The B&M makes shifts alittle smoother. Just look at what you want, do you want andjustableity and save money or a less notchy feel.

Get the Courtesy Nissan one. I jam mine into gear 24/7 and it feels real good, much firmer and more precise than the stock. It's basically a copy of the b&m, but much cheaper. I got mine for 89$ but I think they are at 109 now.
