Need Help Asap, Idle Problem

so my belt snapped saturady, was replaced, and then it started having problems starting, long story short the belt cut the wires on my Crank positioning sensor, bout a new plug w/ wires and installed today and now i have an idle problem, it sounds like it's backfireing if i bring it above idle...
anyone know what this might be?

one more thing... all i did was replace the plug and reset the ecu

any help is greatly appreciated!

Did you fix the Crank Positioning Sensor or not? I thought you cut some wires. What say BijanGXE you're a lot of help! What does your Haynes manual say about this? You do own one, do you not?

Check the ECU for codes again, you either wired it wrong or the sensor is bad.

Dude quit acting like a smart azz. He's my good friend, he called me earlier yesterday to try to figure it out. I bumped the thread so people would SEE it and hopefully respond with info.
