after so many years they are finally here! they do make 95-96 maximas look up to date. even though many people probably got used to Dave L's "non-sparkly-tailight", imo it looks great.

in fact, the older bimmers like the e36 has similar "sparkly" red/clear. they actually do make the car newer.

right now i have the red-out tail, i mite get a set next week.

well i have to say, they do look better IMO, better than stock, and altezzas period.
but i well perfer the style of the 97-99 tails, i guess i'm just more used to the red part being on top
yeah but with red on top clears are smaller so 95-96 red clears look better no contest.

Am I the only who thinks the stock ones look much better than either those clears or the 97-99 lights? Especially on a black car?

I would too but I can't spend $300 on taillights. This is a good price and they still look good. People with David L's shouldn't just sell them now because I think there is still a market for these because a lot of people won't like them.

kinda wish they made the 97-99s in the sparkly style- i'd be down.

edit: the more i look at them, the more i think they look like a casino with glitz and shiit. and they're kinda gaudy. really gaudy. the just don't fity the style of the max. they look good, well better than the real oems, and david l style is about the same. i saw one max that had the all clear 96 lights painted on top and switched the wires to support the change. that was hot

I think anyone with the David L's should sell theirs on ebay RIGHT NOW, like TODAY because once ppl see these new red/clears, the David L's will drop in value like expired milk

yeah i bought all clears for my 96 max from ebay for $350. i know that is expensive but to me it was a investment because i am never going to sell my max. so considering that and how much money i already put into it and how much more money i will put into it, $350 was pocket change. plus if you think about it, everybody will have these tails but the all clears that were painted into red/clears or DavidL red/clears are still going to be rare cause not alot of them were made. and IMO hands down they look better then these tails.

Add these to the new crystal clear tails:

This should shave off a few years from the old Maxima. You'd have a balanced front and rear update that is OEM like.

Yeah, people who have the David L's defend them strongly. Those of us without them say, okay, glad you like them, but now it's my turn to have red/clears and these are nice! I'll be enjoying these, you have fun with yours. Everybody is happy.

its' like cloudy corners vs DC corners, 350 for some taillights that nobody will notice cept for maxima owners is pretty crazy for a some painted tail lights.

i find it odd that people are hear complaining about these lights.... since i've been on this forum all i ever heard was people wanting an option for thier 95/6 maxes. someone makes it and they open up a thread to whine about not liking it

I think they look great!! I will be getting them.
I was also hoping that when Red/clear did come out they would have the diamond cut look to them, and these do. Like the I30 tails, kind of. I think it makes them look nicer.
And it is like the cloudy coners vs the diamond corner, the diamond just looks cleaner on the corners and the tails IMO!!!

I also think that stock might look alot better on a dark car than these, but we will have to wait for some pics. These will stand out even more a dark car than a light colored car. The little diamond cut squares (i dont know what else to call them) are pretty big compared to the clear corners, and I think that why they are so noticeable. But I dunno

Still debating whether to get them or not..

they are a big too shinny, but still they looks sweet and its about time us 95/96ers have a set of clears to call our own instead of waiting to buy a set for $300 off someone, or checking ebay like a mad man.

If I did do the 97+ Lid swap I would be buying some now, probably two sets and working on a LED version.

95/96'ers Rejoice . . . our time has come.

I think these look good; I'll probably get a pair when I get paid. There is a lot of haters of these lights, even after the 10+ pages red/clear group buy thread (not the CM one), what did they expect? As someone else said, "it's probably cause they don't wanna spend any money when the time comes that they are out."
