Finally Got Rims on My Max!

After months and months of procrastination, then the very difficult search for these rims... i finally am rolling on my brand new Mille Miglia Evo 5s (18x8). As for tires i went with the toyo proxes 4, i am very impressed so far with the toyos. and as for the rims i love them, i have already gotten great compliments on them. here are a few pix from the night i got them, sorry i dont have any day time pix yet. enjoy!

what i like about those rims is the fact that they look bigger than they actually are, the 18s look more like 19s.

Those have to be the best looking rims for our cars but, did you know that they are going to be stock (i believe) on some of the new pontiac cars? Really nice choice.

oh man, not my type, but yes the Max looks hot. I don't really like chrome or rims resembling such. Too big of rims too IMO. But nonetheless it looks hot!

Also, have you considered dropping the Max...it would look even better.

True, but IMO big rims like that don't look all that good just because without say an upgraded brake/rotor, the rim is just too big for the small rotor behind it. Just not my cup of tea.

That's when it loses proportion. Another thing IMO is that a lot of new cars (say the 2005 Maximas) have big rims, but those cars are also bigger, wider. The body panels of new vehicles are sort of bulky...I don't know how to describe it. Hence big wheels look good on them. Our 4 gen Maximas, and even the 5th gen, are too thin/skinny looking for big (say anything over 17") rims, I believe.

Looks great man!!!!! Good choice on the tires! ( got em) and nice tails!!!!!!!!!! ( got em too) Rotors do look small as MaximaPWR stated but hey one thing at a time then you can do this:

Funny thse are 18's but wtih 13" cobra rotors kinda looks like 15's again! Until your actually looking at them in the flesh! HUGE and stopping powa!

Anyway nice tried and true combo, I love the 5 spokes chose to go with Alessio's just to be a little different. Good find on the Evos' new I thought thery were dicontinued?

Those rims look great, but 18" wheels with 40 series tires on a mild drop puts you close to the 4x4 look again. Keep your wheel liners clean and dressed nice & dark and it will help you get away with it.

Looks hot man, I just put my rims on my Max this past Friday. I did think about getting those, but like someone stated, they are very common on Maximas. I wanted to be original and went with Enkei ZR-1's in 18x8. Gunmetal in color to go nice with white. It looks nice though man, just like it was meant to be.

that car is hot...i dont mind the pinstripe...the tailights look nice at night but thats my opinion...how is the ride???hehe...i bet you hate gravel as much as i do!

dont just be careful of potholes....be careful of big pieces of wood on the free way...make sure you have enough space to manuever when ur driving with thin tires...you may end up with a bend on that rim...

**my brother was doing 90 on the 5 freeway northbound and all of a sudden there was this two by four in the middle of the road...he had just enough time to react but still had one tire flat... the cars behind him were all going fast also...they ran over...he was the only one with less than 2 bent rims...**

moral of the story...PROTECT YOUR RIMS!

You bastard have the same wheels as I do and live in NJ...maybe we'll run into each other one day
I love them, and I'm sure you do too. There are many of them on the org, but I don't see them on the streets.
Enjoy

I just bought a set of black on chrome, motegi racing rims, size 16 (dont want to replace my ne tires). Looks hot, the rest of my car is charcoal grey with silver trim, along with my light-dark tint, black rainguards, and her bra, i think she looks hot. Im eventually gonna paint my car that burnt orange - hotter-
