Jackstand adapter

Jackstand adapter

Anyone know where to buy online a jackstand adapter.. the adapter allows a normal jack/axle/safety stand support the sill on the sides of the maxima

I have stand simlar to one pictured, so need the adapter!

You don't need one. But if you don't feel safe crawling under without one just cut a slot in a piece of 2x4 to fit over the ridge on the body.

I usually just turn the jackstand sideways and put it just inside the ridge where the surface is flat.

..bump.. anymore ideas.. leads to real adapters?

Not ultra keen on the wood idea considering I'm under it - read a thread where his wooden adapter broke

I'll have to look and see if turning it will be better/safe enough for my liking.

Depending on what I'm doing, I just support the car at major suspension points (Front sub frame, etc)

hey thanks for the pics and stuff !! do you know why the put plywood on the bottom as well?

do it from the subframe...trust me..it works...thats where i do it every time...i've already messed up all the places where the stock nissan jack will handle it.
