I have about 115k, im auto, 97 GXE... about to do an oil change, i'm thinking mobil 1 synthetic. Anyone have any tips / recommendations?

First tip is to post this in the Fluids & Lubricants forum, second tip is to let all the dino oil drain out, third tip is to buy a decent oil filter, eg OEM, Mobil 1, Wix, fourth tip is to change the oil again after 3,000 miles then extend the interval, fifth tip is to watch for oil leaks.
