Automatic Up/Down Window Control Modules
Automatic Up/Down Window Control Modules
from the previous owner iw as supposedly given these control modules for automatic up/down windows by simply using your remote keyless entry
but i looks through the FAQs and havnet found anything on it. anyone installed this on their max?
do i just simply open up my door panels and plug these in? haha i have no f-ing clue.
for those who dont have a remote idea what im tlaking about, my 04 accord did this. you would press once to unlock the doors, then press unlock and hold it the 2nd time and the windows would automatically go down as long as you held the button down. then you could automatically put all the windows up just by using the key.

what kind of car do you have? the 4th gen maxes have an auto down feature built in when holding down the unlock button on the remote. i dont know of any modules that will just 'plug in' to the stock stuff for windows up. what kind of modules do you have?....brand name and model number please.
all 4thegns with keyless have this....i roll them down press and hold the unlock button. this will roll them down. To roll them back up press and hold the unlock button when window are all the way down and then press and hold trunk untill the windows go all the way back up. It is al in your owners manual.

damn...cant find the spec sheets but with the window module, you will have multiple wires...if this module only rolls 4 windows in one direction, you will have the power wires (+,-), a trigger wire (- input), and 4 sets of wires (total of 8), The power should be easy...now your trigger will be hooked into your alarm output when armed (- signal), and the 4 sets, well 1 set goes to each door. You usually splice the motor wire from the switch (the wire for the direction that you want) and then hook up the wires from the module to complete the circuit.
I unfortuantly cannot find any information on these products however I hope this information will provide you some direction.
