hey guys well ive been riding for bout a week with my ecu throwing the "line pressure silinoid" code and the trans shifting hard as hell. well iv pretty much mastered the art of shifting the car so that it doesn shift as hard. BUT the time has come when i need to fix the prob. I think that resistor that people use for the "drop resistor mod" is out. so to order a new one i need to know the part number/ name of the part. if anyone can please help it would be great! id like to get the name by tonight so i can have my father order the parts tomarrow. THANKS AGAIN!

 

Hook up a WOT switch to it. So you can use the drop resistor only when you need it at full throttle.

 

most likely a wiring problem. it is located on the driver side strut tower. check for shorts and opens.

 

i know where its at and everything but its not working right. and i want to order a new one but i dont know the name of the part. and now the OD light flashes when the car turns on. it didnt used to do that at first but now it does every time.

 

bump... does anyone know the name of this resistor? or the part number??

$30.00 to $60.00 depending on stealership.

typically have to order it and wait a few days.
