I also like everything except the rims. But you like the rims, my opinion doesn't really matter.

The wheels look okay, just that they are a different shade of white than the car, other than that, great job on the engine, kit, and system

Car looks clean as hell, but your wheels makes your car look too white, needs more contrast.

Youre from Austin? Where were you on our cruise to Maxus? Or did you just move? Nice Max! I have white 5 spokes as well and the only real comment ive gotten was from some Honda ricers trying to talk crap about white wheels on a white car. I love the look.

very sweet car. I think some graphite wheels with a polished lip would set it off! Im not a fan of the white wheels. What did the 00vi cost? How was installation?

Very nice man! I like your wheels, but I would spend the dough to have them painted the same pearl as your car. Now that would be unique!

Nice looking car, wheels are so so IMO... I'd like to see #'s and timeslips.

Guys looking into 00VI, All Motor Forum, there are many threads on the different methods. If you're that serious about doing the swap, the $20 spent for donating will be well spent and help on your way to a 00vi.

thanks for all the comments and it seems that everyone seems to have the same opinion on the rims, but its what i got for now..there might be a change sometime soon, but its probably going to be re-powder coating the rims or having them done in pearl white to match the car. And ive been too busy working on some last minute interior mods and still havent had a chance to hit the dyno or the track yet... as for keeping the engine bay clean and looking good, i used to be a detailer up at BMW of Austin, so i learned a few things here and there about how to do it

Everytime I see 00VI I just want to cry. It has to be SOOOOOOO sweet to feel that pull at redline. I wish I could just pay someone to do 5Spd swap and 00VI. I am too noobish to do all that. Took me hours to change my damn y-pipe.

I would love to have a 00vi to.

I remeber back about 2 years ao white rims were the shiet, now its black and gunmetal rims that are in, and also rims with a lip ...go figure?
