Is it me or does EVRYONE wih a Mustang want to race maximas??? i mean evrytime I go out and there is a Mustang.. he tries to race.. anyone else with these problems??

 

Yesterday I had a modded Talon try to provoke me and I don't have any of the go-fast looks that your car has.

The Max is provoking races all across America with so called sports cars, isn't that funny? I wonder if people with the GS400 have the same problem.

I don't know... I never have anyone come up on me to run at the lights or whatever... I guess since I am still stock... But when I had my Mustang, I think I used to run anything that had a driver less than 30 years of age... Haha. Used to beat most of 'em too... Except that one time I got burned by a TT Supra, and a blown Saleen... I knew I would anyways... Just didn't care...

 

every rustang that I see always wants to race me, of course at the light I am right behind most of them and then they take off, I don't take off and they think they smoked me, then once they slow down I blow by them like they are going backwards, then once the next light comes and we are side by side, they normally back off and don't do anything. The other day this guy with a 92 or so GT 5.0 with the usual exhaust and stuff mods, starts reving at me, well I had just got my new tires put on so I was weighed down by my girl friend 4 old tires, and a 100lb box, so I said f$ck that I will surely lose. Well of course he took off and right next to the Nissan dealer he slowed down, I got next to him and looked over as I dropped to 3rd at about 60 mph and he punches it as do I we stayed dead even till about 90 when i said I wasn't going to embarass him anymore, and I thought to myself he would have been toast if I hadn't had tires and a box in the car.

My g/f's sister's husband decided to rent a convertable Mustang for the weekend just because school was out and he thought it would be fun. . . It is only a 6 cyl, as they don't rent GT's, and he said in the 2 days that he has had it, he has been revved on like 6 or 7 times. . . Maybe these guys always get people revving on them so they assume it is normal etiquite to try and dust everyone.

 

I raced a mustang with my I30 when it was fully stock (15" rims, etc). All i had was a factory spoiler, and he came up with his elec. blue 5.0 and was doing the rev stuff. I figured if I even revved my engine, he probably wouldnt even hear it! I did beat him, but i stopped at around 55 or so, and he blew by me and left the ground when he hit the top of the bridge. When i hit the top, he was nowhere to be seen. There are mustangs all over this town, 99% of them driven by teenagers. Oh, and I was also "revved" by some VERY old black, rusty trans-am or something of that nature with an exceedingly loud exhaust system (or maybe he didnt even have an exhaust system, it sounded so bad).
