I hit a pothole, dented an aluminum rim and got a small crack in it.

Tire Rack Doesn't have a replacment and suggested some places to fix it.

I called one that wanted a photo (which I'll send when I have a moment).

I called another that said it could NOT be fixed, said it was like a crack in a windshield - even if it was fixed it would just keep growing, and that their insurance policy would not let them fix cracks.

So - does anybody know if I can get it fixed or not?

Has anybody had a cracked rim fixed successfuly?

Does anybody know of any place in SW Connecticut
- or anywhere - that can fix it?

Any idea what this might cost?

I had a severly bent rim fixed...and had a freind get a hairline cracked rim fixed. The only way to be sure is to find a place to take it to ...to let them look at it in person. I paid about 75-90 dollars to get mine fixed.....shouldnt be more than 100.00

alot of welding places do that kind of work. usually around $100 they fixed the 22"ers on my 745 on 3 diff wheels. i love those wheels but the potholes SUCK!!!
