I know a guy who is a mechanical engineer here in Si Valley --
He bought a HICAS Eliminator plate for his 300ZXTT --
It is some kind of blank plate that replaces some rear wheel steering components --
Well, Stillen screwed up the part about 3 times in a row --
When he finally got the part toleranced and designed to spec, he took it to a machine shop and had them machine out the Stillen name in the part --
Now he never buys from Stillen anymore --
Some companies don't seem to care about the serviceability of their modifications -- Just did an AEM intake kit with my roommate on his Integra -- Everything was perfect and fit just right and the instructions were really good too --
Didn't have to go out and buy extra parts, bolts, adhesives, cutting tools, clamps, etc -- And we didn't wonder whether the parts made the improvement that was claimed -- There was no question -- we felt the improvement right away --
I have never been fully satisfied with anything I ever bought from Stillen -- except for the strut tower braces -- but it is kinda hard to screw up a strut tower brace --
Probably most of the tech support people at Stillen are just kids working through college -- probably not focused on making customer and technical support their career --
