wiring and donating
wiring and donating
first question is anyone run rcas or power wires from the dash back for amps in the trunk? I have a good history in installing, and have no doubt i can do it. However, I am wondering if any of you have run into any particularly difficult areas when running the wires? Any sticky points addressed would be greated apreceiated (sp).
Secondly how do I donate money to the forum? now that I have a maxima I would like to have the forum search function. As well as I feel it is fair to help to keep this site running, because I'm sure I will get my fair share of help from all of you guys.
Maybe i jsut missed where u donate to. Thanks

With RCAs you want to make sure it's not near any 12 volt power wires if you can. It's best to avoid other wires because they can cause noise in the amp transmitted via the RCA. Then you have to worry about filters and stuff.
What i like to do is to run my RCAs right down the middle hump. It takes a little bit of work and it helps if you have a snake but once you take off the bottom of your back seat, its pretty simple.
I've never had a problem with this yet. When I ran them along the side. Sometimes I'd get a whine.
