m3 vs x5

Kinda off topic but i was wonderin if there were ne suggestions whether which one i should get. I can get a brand new m3 convertible for 851/month loaded, or a brand new x5 for 818/month loaded. i could get it even cheaper if i trade in my 4th gen, but prolly not worth lettin go of ma baby. ne suggestions?

I would suggest neither, unless you plan on living with your parents for the rest of your life! The number of young car-poor .orgers just baffles me. Do yourself a favor and run your Maxima into the ground or you will never have a pot to p!ss in or a window to throw it out.

This guy won't have a problem with his girlfriend if he gets either car. He won't be able to afford a girlfriend, lol!

75k/year still wouldn't permit a house payment and ~1k for a car & insurance payment .. comfortably.

well actually..

@75 starting..im not moving out til next year regardless..by that time the 8% raise kick in would entitle me to have 81000, definitely enuff for a 2400 house payment, and a 1000 car+insurance payment..with a good 2 extra to save and spend on utilities and food. so i dunno man, but if u cant afford life with 2 Gz a month, at least while ur not married, ur livin life way on the edge

dude your 20 years old...your acting way ahead of your game....moving out is a whole new ball game .... take into account all of lifes expenses that you take for granted since you live with mommy and daddy .... hopefully you wont lose your job either...if u did lose your job, then how would you pay your car and house payments?.... live like a 20 year old

I make 2gs a month and only make 1/2 that yearly salary.. so Anyhow, click on my 1st response post#2 and ask a mod to move it there to other cars. If you want to talk salaries, donate and post in OT.

IBTL...haha, this reminds me of that Cosby Show episode where he teaches the son how to live on monopoly money. yeah, and way off topic. just because you own a 4th gen doesn't mean all of your posts goes in here.

oh hey guys, should I get a Cingular or Verizon phone plan. i figured since we have 4th gens...you would be able to help me out...

I think this kid is full of it. I highly doubt he'll make $75K a year and will get an 8% pay increase. One would have to have an education and years of experience to get that and he has neither.

well if the kid is going into med field or if he is doing something sports related i dont see y he cant make that much. i just dont know why people dont answer him when he asked a harmless question. no need to post if your gonna all tell him not to post here.

i say u buy the one u need. if u carry **** for work or fun then get the truck if u like donuts and hot easy chicks then rock the m3. me i would use the cash and buy a vette.

good luck to you then ..

sounds like you'll have $$ to burn in the upcoming months, given your prospective annual salary. As much as I'd like a BMW, personally I'd rather have a cheap car payment and still have $$ in the bank, compared to the payment and maintenance associated w/ BMW's. Then, when the time comes, the $$ would be there for me to get an apartment or a small house for myself, or even move to Chicago, but this is like 2-5 years from now. I was one of the few that didn't get to finish college in 4 yrs, but I've made a determination to finish my last 2 yrs of college so I can have a job in the future that makes more $$ and still drive a car and live in a place that I can AFFORD
