Bypass Valve Headache

Ive had my CAI in for a while and finally got tired of worrying about driving my car through the heavy rain and floods of Miami so i went and got myself an AEM bypass valve. I took apart my setup today and noticed that i dont knwo where on earth i can put it. Most practical applications ive seen show the bypass valve with a piece of pipe coming into the valve on both sides. However, in the upper portion of my setup where the bypass should be i barely have pipe at all partly because of the MAF sensor. I have posted some pics to show my prob and would apprecciate any help i can get.

I dont see any pics of your problem but If i were to guess, the bypass valve needs to placed somewhere between the filter and the MAF...Ive had a place racing CAI before but never a bypass vavle...put it on the end where the filter is ??

I wish I could that would be much easier but for it to work properly it needs to be up near the top of the CAI. As for the pics they are on the link i posted.
