New Cefiro Headlights *Poll*

I recently bought and installed some Smoked Cefiro Headlights.. Got some new pics of them installed on my website.. Sorry for the crappy photos.. just installed them and did a quick detail so i could take some pics.. ill better ones later.. but i cant decide which running lights to use in my headlights.. at first i had the blue halogen 194s and thought it looked to ricey.. then i ordered the white LED bulbs and installed them and cant decide which i like better.. so im asking for everyones help and honest opinion.. i know the pics arent the greatest but tell me what you think.. also the white bulbs give off a slight purple tint to them which match up great with my headlights and foglights.. but you cant tell since the digital camera changes the colors slightly..

and here is a link to my website..

They aren't his low beams, merely his driving (city) lights. They're just supposed to emit a glow to fill the housing with light, not actually provide any usable light on the road.

You'd swear from those pictures though where he has white in, that they WERE his low beams they're so bright

preciate all the input guys.. at first i didnt like the blue bulbs, and then they grew on me.. but now that ive had the white led bulbs in for a couple of days ive leaned away from the 'ricey' blue bulbs haha.. oh and tatanko is right.. these arent my actual 'headlight' bulbs.. just my running lights that are located in my headlight housing.. this is a feature with the cefiro headlights.. they are bright for sure.. but the pics are misleading.. the camera makes them look like headlights.. i never realized that before..

van- i think the polargs would look the same as the blue ones in the pics above.. but ill check it out when i get back in town, ive got some laying around the house somewhere..

blake- im feeling the new HKS muffler.. it looks sharp.. cant wait to hear it when i get back in town.. did you ever get your clutch fixed??

I'm with the white as well. I didn't even hook my City lights up...I Don't really care for the way they look. Yeah, Though, White all the way. Blue doesn't match the other lights. Sort of makes it look "Color Busy" if that makes any sense.

Go all-white. For everything. No blue, no purple, no amber.

And what am I missing? Since when do 194s go in headlights??

Amber bulbs are in his corners.

I have a question for him though. Did you do the mod where the corner light is bright all the time? If so you will want to change that because it will melt the little plastic piece that covers the bulb. Unless you just cut it off. Just giving you warning and letting you know.

I dont know which set of lights exactly you are talking about.. i have my side (bumper lights) re-wired so that they come on when my running lights are switched on.. as far as my corner lights that are next to my headlights are still factory wired.. i havent done anything to those.. i have the 24 LED amber bulbs in those (1197 bulbs).. and they havent melted yet.. but let me know if youve had a issue with yours or if that is what you are talkin about.. thanks for the warning though..

g4nismo - i dont really think that the city lights have a purpose except for being another set of running lights (like on the newer chevrolets, and even on 350Z's, etc..)

ptatohed - what you are missing is that you dont have cefiro headlights like me and some other ppl have.. this isnt a feature for stock maxima headlights, only on cefiro headlights.. *fyi* cefiro is the japan version of the maxima/I30.. hope that answers your question..

Ok it's because you have the led bulbs that your corner lights (those attached to the headlight) are so bright. It is possible to flip the bulb around and make it so that it's bright all the time, instead of just when you turn. However with Cefiro headlights if you do that the heat form the bulb melts the plastic. But you are fine.

If you get those blue ones, you are constantly going to have trouble with the cops. That will just not go over very well.

I have my corner lights blink when i flick the turn signal, that way theyre off when im just driving straight. I have 6000k hids that look white/purple and use a purple led as a city light. Also i have the bumper lamps totally disconnected. Looks pretty tight if you ask me.
