Just got my suspension mod/tune-up bill...

Hello boys, I had my friend the Nissan Master Tech. do my suspension and a minor tune to my car last Saturday, here's what he did.
4 illuminas, 4 Tein H-Techs, 4 KYB boots, front mounts, bearings and insulators, oil change, fuel filter, air filter, 6 NGK Platinum plugs, clean throttle body. I had only the Illuminas, springs and boots, everything else he got at the dealership where he works. Total bill for parts and labor, $720.53
Too high
Too low
Just right.
thanks

you dont need strut mounts, but if you want to you could get them, it would be easier during the install, so you only have to compress the springs once instead of twice

wtf!!!! I just half of my reply typed and I lost power as well as everything I just typed!!! Now I have to type it all over again!!! Argh!! Okay, if your car has over 100k on it, it's good to replace these parts while it is apart, rather than have to do it later when they start to make noise. I got rubber insulators for front/rear, bearings, and mounts for the front. Is your car a 5 speed? Mine is and the drop is very nice, not too low and gets rid of the 4x4 look. I have a very tight 3 finger gap all around. Slightly lower in the front. The ride is great! I have a setting of 2in the front and 3 in the rear. Good luck man. Don't forget the KYB boots SB103 and SB108.
Peace

Just get a System for the back for the Tein H Techs, and your back will be as low as your front which should be 2 finger gap.

Front - You need four of these. Two on each spring. One goes on the last coil to isolate the spring from the strut and one goes on the 2nd coil from the top to stop noises if they rub or touch each other.

Courtesy Nissan has the best price on these, about $6.50
Front P/N 54034-85E10
Rear you only need one. P/N - 55020F
got this from the sticks
so i need 4x P/N 54034-85E10 and 2x PN - 55020F
the rubber insulators slip over the springs so they dont rub correct? all the diagrams i find of the struts are all not working. I'm guessing ill get a better picture when i take off the stock ones and replace them.
Ive also found a post that is a 3rd isolater on the spring, right at the bottom for when the springs compress and contact which some people were complaining of noise
