wow, that drop does look great, and interesting choice of rims; they look like Eclipse rims +5 or something. but they look good. i was working on my install tonight of Illuminas and S-Techs, but i couldn't budge those damn bolts by the control arms. they were such a mess! i guess i'll have to go to some service station tomorrow and have them just loosen them up real quick.

but back to the topic, how do the HP's ride? just curious. also, what kind of antenna do you have?

Spray some WD40 on the bolts on both sides, then use a breaker bar. It'll come off.

here is the before and after pic - to answer some of ppl question im using Tokico HP Blue and Tein S-Tech, the ride its prettey comfortable a lil bouncy if you hit a bump but im loving it... as you can see the drop is nice and the front is really low just how i like it... and as for my mirror i have SLR Dual LED side mirrors - it was for a honda accord but i bought it and made it fit... didn't need much customization to fit it in... and my rims are Konig Tuner 2 18x7.5 and Toyo tires...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought, as I was told that Tokiko Blues are basically stock replacement and if you put lowering springs with them, you'll blow your struts.

what did you have to do to install the mirror remove the stock one and what mods did you have to do to the mirror to get it to fit on the max? also did you hook the 2 lights on the mirror up to your blinker?

also are you sure its 94-97 and not 98-02?

thank you again

your car is hott

i ordered the 94-97 but if you get the 98-02 it would fit alot better... a friend of mine got a different style mirrors for his maxima but he got the 98+ accord and it fit much better than the 94+

as for me i had to redrill the 3 holes in order to get it striagte but you can use the existing hole but it'll tilt upward... and also because mine was the 94+ i had to shave the front tip a little so it'll sink into the hole.. all it took me was an hour and wired up to my blinker... it looks awsome at night... there was to version one with white led and one with yellow i got the white ones... good luck if u get them pm if u need further help

Actually you are somewhat misinformed. According to Maxmod, Tokico Blues are an OEM replacement, just like the KYB GR2. Although the GR2 is somewhat better because its pretty much just like the AGX only non-adjustable and fixed at 2/4 (AGX setting). They should not be paired with stiff springs as they will blow out much sooner. The S-tech's spring rate is 201lbs front/280lbs rear. OEM is around 120lbs front/200 lbs rear. That's a big difference! Those Tokico Blues won't last you as long, you could have just slapped on a set of OEM's and save yourself some money instead because the end result is the same...blown struts. You should have gone with Tokico springs, H&R, or even H-techs at the very most. You should have done your research first instead of just asking everyone else, yes people's opinions do count up to a certain extent. Nothing beats doing your own homework. As for looks......the drop looks nice.

I've also heard heard about the blues blowing early with lowering springs. I'm riding on the blues myself. I bought the blues and the springs, both from Tokico. They were being sold as a set. So far, after 20K miles, they seem to be holding up well. No signs of leaking. Maybe people are experiencing early blow outs with extreme drops. These Tokico springs only have modest drops. 1.5" front/1.3" rear. The ride is a bit bouncy sometimes, but more than tolerable. Usually very comfortable. The handling isn't too shabby either. That's my experience with the blues so far. Very happy with them.

Can you take a close up picture of the fitment of the mirrors?
Also, how did you plug them in to the nissan harness to move the mirrors around?

Dorry to go off topic

Dont know what kinda driving you all do with your Blue's, but my friend has had Tokico Blues setup with S Techs for a year and a half, it hasnt blown and the ride is not that stiff, but good enough.. And not bouncy.. And were here in ny.. I also have blues, but im on H-Techs.. And they been good to me so far
