**HELP** KYB Dust Boot Replacements Install ?'s **HELP**

So I just got my KYB dust boot/bump stop parts, SB103 and SB108. (just to clarify, SB103 go on the front, right? I'm pretty sure, but would rather know than have to do the install twice...) but also, I was wondering if they are a dirrect fit, or if trimming is required? And do they fit in the strut mount the same way as the stock boots, or do they just slide down the strut piston? did you zip-tie it to the bottom? since the stock one was not strapped down like that, I would figure this one shouldn't be either.

thanks for any help that you can give me. I'm just not sure how to install these. also, I work in 1 1/2 hours, so please help!?!?

thanks a lot!

SB103 is the front. They're direct fit. They fit the same way, I chose to zip tie.

alright, thanks. did you trim them at all? i'm assuming no? what was your drop? I have S-Techs, so I'm not sure if it would be necessary.

No trimming required. They already come with shorter bump stop. My drop is about 1.7" all around on Intrax springs.

k, back from the garage...!
i dunno what i'm doin wrong, see if you can find out:
I took the new boot and set it onto of the strut piston so that the top threads are still showing. I put the washer on top of that. then when I put on the spring mount and the strut mount and compress them to put the top bolt on, the boot slides down onto the polished piston part! i didn't think that it should be sittin down there.

i dunno what the deal is, but if anyone can help, please do so! i'm lost!
if you don't get what i'm sayin, ask me and i'll try to clarify.

PLEASE HELP!! sorry for all the excessive bumping, but I just cannot figure this one out!?!? i don't understand how it all goes together. I have Illuminas and S-Techs and i have been able to install those with stock bumpstops/dustboots but then I took them out when my KYB dustboots arrived and I just don't get how they all go together!! my stock boots totally ripped off so they are useless and I don't want to drive with those on. I need to get this together tonight! help, please!!!
