!!URGENT PLEASE!! how do I get defroster and hazard switch out of ac bezel???
this is kinda stupid but I cant figure it out..im putting a black ac bezel in place of my brown one...I have the whole thing out and the switches disconnected... but I cant figure out how to get the 2 switches themselves out of the bezel plastic thing...theres a plastic leverage thingy that I press on one side but only gives leverage to that side and still will not push out either side..ive tried everything and I can not figure it out ...anyone do this before PLEASE help ! .. thanks Rick

damn man, that took me a while to get it..
there's no figuring it out, just gotta keep messin aroudn with it
try this though: when u lever one side up, stick a paper clip in there or something, and get the other side up as well..
good luck

i dont quite understand what is so URGENT about this... but...
you just have to pop the vents out, then pull on the vents, clock, and AC unit as a whole. the tabs in the back would be good to locate to center your pressure accordingly.

its pretty much common sense. push the switch outwards (as if the panel was still on) from where the connectors connect. just push with a decent amount of force. it'll pop right out.

push so the tab goes into where the plastic holds it, putting something in there will only make it harder. Once the tab is in on it's own, push the other side with some force, it will come out. Took me awhile the first time also, now I can get them out in seconds.
