B-pipe Question

I have a hole in my b-pipe, i cut out the hole and put a nice coupler in place and bolted it on. After about 8 months ( 1 winter ) my coupler job is nice and RUSTED!!!! Anyway over the 4th of july i was driving up to my buddies cabin in the middle of the woods and the car bottomed out and as the muffler hit, it pulled the rear part that was in the coupler out of the coupler. I am attempting to fix this but having no luck as even though i have the u-bolts off, the pipe seems to be stuck!

Question 1 : Since I am in Syracuse NY which is notorious for snow and salt on the roads in the winter I have a huge rust issue. Is there a B-pipe worth buying as a replacement out there? SHould I just go to the muffler shop and have them bend one for me? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Question 2 : Should I just buy a new car???

A1: You can find a muffer shop to put together a B-pipe with a resonator for you, or you can pick up a stainless steel one from one of the many cat-back vendors.

A2: Would you buy a new home if the water heater broke down in the house you live in?
