a friend of mine with a 3rd gen suggest that placing a 97 3.3 liter pathfinder intakemanifold would greatly increase my power. He had said a fellow orger had done it. It isn't exactly a direct bolt on but is still possible. Has anyone heard of this, done it, or know anything about it? any info is good! thanx

 

.... Who has done it? The only pathy IM's that are worth while are the ones in 01(?) that came with the VQ35 .. not that's a true dual stage. But the 3.3 is a VG based engine I believe ...

RWD manifold on a FWD setup.....fitment may be a problem. and yes, it is a VQ engine/manifold. Wasn't there some talk in the All-motor section about using a 3.5 pathy manifold?

 

Not on a '97 it's not. It's the VG33E/ER. Which is mostly def. not going to work on any form of VQ, especially not a transversely setup one like on the Maxima.
