AC problem

not sure why the previous thread about this got locked since this is a perfectly legit question but, its 95 degrees outside and i have no AC - havent for the past week trying to figure out what the deal is with it. The fan just does not work - on any speed (does this rule out the resisitor) fuses by the steering wheel are fine and i have all the lights in my centor console. any ideas?

The blower motor is probably shot. Its located under on the passenger side, under the glovebox.

Junk yard = Used
AutoZone = Aftermarket (if they even carry that)
Stealership = OEM part, try Pinnacle Nissan on line for a descent price.

Shouldn't be hard to install - a few bolts/screws. I am guessing it would be pretty easy with the glove box off (you might not have a choice). Should be outlined in the Haynes if you have one (hint).

well last nite i discovered something new - when i hit the upper vents button (the one w/ the arrow just pointing at your head) the fan began to blow air out, but only on speed one (even if i turned it to other speeds). then when i changed to both feet and head vents it was like it didnt have enough power to do both and slowly died. what is the deal here?

Your blower motor is bad, replace it.
