IM question

I don't know if this has been asked before, and if it was I couldn't find the thread. But has anyone bored out their stock IM? I have read that the IM for the 4th gens are pretty crappy for flow.... Probably why people ditch it for the 00VI and mevi. But after taking it off it looks like there is a good amount of material that could get scraped away. If there has been a post of this nature please forward me to it.
Thank you

cant remember off the top of my head how much extra can be taken off, but more than likely it wont show much or any signifigant gains. try a 00VI setup, that sounds better.

www.car-part.com should be able to find a bunch.

Also keep an eye on the for sale section, if you can find one in the for sale section then you should strike gold as all the custom work and pieces should already be made, and being sold with the VI.
