New products for the Maxima

Im looking for a max owner that lives in Arizona, either 4th, 5th, or 6th gen that may be interesed in the process of creating some new products for the maxima line. (his 3si.org alias) smokinvr4 has been developing custom products for 3000gts for several years now and is well respected in the 3s community. Hes done wonders for their cars and is now looking to expand his business and possibly provide some great stuff for our cars. If anyone is interested in that area feel free to let him know at smokinvr4@hotmail.com. Thanks!

Hey man, I'm not up that way but talk to him and see if he would make a dual lens aftermarket projector style headlight for 4th gens kinda like the ones they have for the 5th gens that they sell on eBay. I'm custom making a set right now but they have a highbeam driving lens and a real hid projector lens beside it, one of these days I will upload pics, I think they would look good on our cars.

I agree with this here, but nothing like the AM crap on ebay. Those projectors they sell are crap. If you could produce a good quality 4th gen retrofit projector you would be in business.

I would also suggest some type of exhaust system that lies between an OBX and Greddy sp2.

Well with Stillen getting out of the Supercharger game for us a company that could make them with the same gains if not better would be in business.

We have a perfectly good turbo kit available from PFIspeed. It makes better power than the Stillen supercharger kit -- even at 1500 rpm -- with less boost pressure (4 psi). Swap in a GT35R turbo and add a MEVI and full 3" exhaust, and you're talking >400 whp easy (they've done it).

IMO, we really need seat rails to fit more aftermarket seats. It'd also be nice to have true aero parts (like FUNCTIONAL front and rear spoilers), and lightweight panels.

I say more turbo options the better. More competition=better price. It would make FI more accessible to the masses.

Yeah competition brings better prices. But I said supercharger kit only because some people prefer them to turbos. Some will say because of reliability but there is always something with FI. How many people have the PFISpeed kit and how is their reliability with it? It is all about tuning but some people will still want a supercharger kit only because they are more known for daily drivers.

Smokin-VR4 specializes in brushed and polished aluminum pieces, he can also do carbon fiber and fiberglass work...but his best products are his sub boxes. He is going to need some max's to take some measurements/dimensions of trunk and other places to see what he can fab up. He can pretty much turn any piece into polished or brushed aluminum, like dash vents, custom gauge pods, trim...etc. His site is: http://www.e-clipse.net/3kgt/ -- anything thats on that site, im sure he can make for a maxima.
