painting spark plug cover is pretty easy, just clean it and spray it. you might want to tape up areas you don't want painted though (i taped up the bar that runs across the middle). and also i didn't want my letters painted so i just rubbed chapstick on the letters (any similar product like vaseline or something should work as well) and sprayed it. after a few coats just wipe the chapstick off and peel the tape off.

yeah i worked on my spark plug cover for about 6 hours on day. first i sanded it all down (1 hour) next i masked off the center bar and letters very neatly (1 hour). after that i sparyed three coats of black (1 hour). next i masked off the center bar and painted it silver (1/2 hour). after that i painted the all the letters red with a touch up stick (2 hours took my sweet a** time). also i polished my vavle cover, made the sprak plug cover look sweet.
