Suggestions for brakes

I'm seriously hurting for brakes - they are long overdue for both new rotors and pads.
I was going to go with some slotted/drilled rotors from ebay, but remember people advising against this. Why? Also, if anyone can suggest a good place to get good quality blanks, feel free...
Now for the pads - what are everyone's suggestions? I was looking into EBC Greenstuff pads, but could only find some available for the fronts for some reason.
Thanks in advance guys.

After copious amounts of research, I've concluded that OEM pads and rotors are a good way to go if your requirements are minimum noise, long life, and good stopping ability. Drilled rotors apparently have been known to crack and neither drilled nor slotted seem to offer any improvement over OEM on the street. They do look cool though, until they rust... so if your requirements include looking good, you might want to consider having the rotors zinc plated.
If you're autocrossing or otherwise overworking your brakes, then you might want to go with a setup that is designed for higher temperatures.
Hope that helps!

How long do the OEM rotors last? I have 100k on my '98 and am taking a road trip Friday. The brakes feel weak and I was going to be changing them but I'm not sure about the rotors. If I do get new rotors, should I cut them first?

Thanks!

IIRC, our rotors can only be turned/cut once. Mine are really beat up, which is why I'm looking for a replacement.

Cross Drilled/Slotted wont buy you much but looks. If you end up getting those, go with Zinc Plated so they wont rust. As for pads, stick with OEM. Performance Pads will eat up your rotors quick!
