what's with the whole "speed limit = 35, actual = 45" thing? Not sure what you were trying to accomplish/display in that scene; maybe you were just trying to give some sort of reference as to your speed?

 

Maybe anticipate that next time?

It seems like a really nice road but like others said, we all look out the front of a Maxima every day. The shot you have is cool but you have to mix it up...maybe include dashboard shots, drive-by shots from different angles (on both curves and straights), perhaps a shot out the back. You have to keep things new and different to keep the viewer's attention...we can't even tell what makes this car special because I could make this same video with my mom's station wagon. You have a really sweet lookin Max, so show off what it looks like from various angles while on the road.

Oh and my other opinion about car videos that people make...the sound of a VQ is all the music I need! Music is cool but I prefer just listening to the car, it really adds a lot to the video. Just my $0.02.

 

I would prefer hearing ur car too. not just music and u driving.
other wise nice, I like the startup sound on ur car, the split second I heard ur car...

 

Good idea with the video. A little constructive critism though; work on some nice angels OUTSIDE of the car. You've got the right idea though...Keep up the video work. It's always more exciting than pictures.


IDEA: Setup your tripod outside, at the far view of a nice turn with some nice scenary in the background(I bet you have some nice drop offs with an amazing view of some mountains fleeting off in the background), and bang that car around that corner, so we can all see what the suspension can do. Then, stop just short of the camera and rev the engine a few times...then bust outta there so we can all hear the take off as well.

Just some random thoughts for ya.
