Please don't.

Peeling the pillars falls under the "I gotta do something so it isn't stock" section of "mods."

It looks worse without the black trim there. The black keeps your eyes from picking up the pillar in the lines of the car. It looks much smoother and complete with the blacked out pillars, especially on light colored cars and/or cars with tint.

i like the mod. but i do agree a little with mzmtg in the fact that it does make your tint look alot lighter. but still looks good.

i used a hair drier to get the sticker off.. but it still left glue there.. i desided to use a sponge with a corse side on it and scrubbed.. my armes are tired but it came off, now i have to wax and buff some of the very light scratches off of it but it is off

i agree that it is not necessarily the best look for the car. especially the tint part. if you have totally blacked out tint, and then this tan or white or whatever color streak going through it, it looks awful. i admit i thought about this myself, but even if it did look decent, the paint would probably be off. I have photoshopped mine and

I agree, I think the blacked out pillars keeps the car looking shorter, thus more sleek. Somehow body color makes it look like Bonneville. Not good in my eyes, but to each his own...

looks nice, I don't think there's any real reason why not to do this "mod." It's a clean look and a simple cosmetic. Again it looks nice. I like the drop too, not slammed but not stock...good job!

Unless your black is faded.

What did you use to remove glue if any?

If i wanted the tints to look dark i would of got darker.. I purposely got 35% bronze tints because i wanted the look that i got. I love my mod. Its a beautiful thing. As for the glue, i just heated it up and rubbed it off with a t shirt.. the glue basically ***** up and comes off.. nothing major..its the easiest mod ever..

i think it looks alright. I did mine, but my car is dark (granite pearl). I think it looks best on darker cars.

Just a heads up~~~Unfortunately, my front driver door is a replacement, so the paint was white underneath. So i had to get that painted, but it won't cost much..

Do whatever the heck you want to do, it's your car!!

I agree, I think it breaks up the lines of the car. But.... to each his own!
