Just wanted to see Pics of this installed on a max.........im thinking of buying them, anybody know the quality of these?

looks kind of like my old gunmetal altezzas If they had been black around the edges like these, I might have kept them.

 

It's probably unsold altezzas that some company bought real cheap, painted, then remarketting with a new name. It looks exactly like my old chrome alts that are sitting in my garage, just painted black.

 

Altezzas are ugly on maximas man... just get red/clears....

 

Doesnt anybody else find it lame that so many companies put "JDM" all over everything in order to appeal to the rice market?!?

 

my friend has these on his 96...they dont look as rice as the other ricer lights but generally theyre pretty rice. If ur going for that look, this is a pretty good way to go.

They're better than my JDM CF Altezzas!@! lol... i don't know what i was thinking. but i'm keeping them untill i get my carbon fiber trunk on this or next week and see if it goes better with that since it's CF altezza.

But I don't know.. it looks good with black cars... everyone who saw it says it looks good in person.. even at the meets... or maybe they are too scared to say it's rice in person.. haha

Finally they made them with a black outlining strip instead of that bright silver. If you get them open them and black out the grey areas.

Wow. This must be your first enthusiast forum. Well.....Rice is...........whatever you want it to be. Too many rice discussions. People fight over the word. Search on Google for rice and you'll see it everywhere. Not really a certain definition.

I saw a Super Black 4g Maxima with black Altezzas and as much as I hate rice, the lights looked REALLY good on his car. After seeing his car, even I want them and I'll take all the rice bashing...

 

And we will be ready to give it to you... just make sure you post LOTS of pics!!

I don't like them. They are the only "upgrade" to the Fourth Generation Maxima taillights . I like the stock lights with the amber lights. For some reason they give me a skyline feel with the M A X I M A letters.

 

You're a brave soul. I like that. Don't let any of these knuckle heads tell you any different. Keep your ambers if you like them.

 

Damn straight. I honestly don't see anything wrong with them. Why do you want to get rid of them?

 

Oh, I personally like the red/clears that I have now. Cost me 5 bucks so why not do it. But, I never hated on anyone's choice. It's their car and I should have no say in it.
