i am looking for rack to carry bike and/or ski. any recommendation racks that i should buy. Post pics and site links that I would like to look up. I have SE 98. My car has spoiler, so a rack wont touch the spoiler.

I bought a yakima rack for my 99 SE. I currently use it with kayak holders, but hope to purchase the bike attachment this fall. The cost was a little better than the comparable Thule. The Thule uses square bars vs. the tubular Yak's and this may be better from a design standpoint. Last weekend some scum try to steal my Kayak. The rack remained secure and undamaged ( although the roof took $1500 damage! ).

I can take a picture of the rack on the car if you'd like.

I have a complete Yakima roof rack, button-down 6 for skis/snowboards, lock cores, and the front fairing. All you'll need is new clips as I had it on my 3rd gen. I know, I know, wrong forum...but I'll give you a great deal as I haven't used it in 3 years. PM me if you want it.

I have a thule rack for you. I was going to put it on ebay

 

Thule all the way. Beware, it will scratch your roof no matter what you do. Just clean the car and the rubber feet as best as you can. Little dust will rub and rub away your paint. WORST on black car. I had my rack on 4 cars already....scratched most of them. Only car that resisted it was my 2001 ford taurus in white.
