This Connects To What?

Found this half of a connector hanging off the middle of the passenger side fuel rail. It's one prong and I wouldn't notice it if I didn't hit it with a water hose. Can't find the other female to the connector. Anyone know what it might connect to?

It's not a hose. It's a connector on the top rail almost exactly in the middle on the passenger side.

im confused since the fuel rail has no connectors other than the 6 injectors. also there is no passanger rail. but, is it one wire with a plug on the end of it? sounds like the tach wire. its there for diagnostics. a pic would help

It's the highest electrical conduit (not the fuel rail), middle of that on the passenger side. There is a holder and connector just below it. Follow the conduit until it banks toward the driver side and there is another holder and connector on that.

This thing is right in the middle going toward the passenger before it banks right. It's a grey round male connector that might be an inch long. Appears to be only on wire and not two hanging off the conduit (which is all wrapped in electrical tape).

Thats the main harness that connects to each coil pack, the IACV, etc. The only thing on the passenger side near the main harness run that I remember is the O2 sensor. All along the plenum are the coil pack connections.. I can't think of what else connects into the harness there.... again a pic would be worth a 1000 words here

Ok, the main harness there is the O2 sensor and what else? There is only a few connectors that run off of it.

Do you see that green tab right above the AC high side inlet? Right there is where it's at. Right next to that black construction tie that hold it all together. So nearly top closest to the passenger on that main harness.

:

You'd throw a CEL if something was disconnected that was supposed to be connected.

Do you see how the conduit is shaped like a U from our viewpoint? Bottom left of the U there is two tie downs spaced evenly. It's next to the left tie down. Just a connector with one wire.

The connector is round but elongated.

the 'U' is for an inductive pick up on a timing light. the 95's also have a tach sense wire right above the motor mount. page 4-12 of the haynes manual.

That's it. Is there a cover for it? I was on 2c-10 working my way through the whole manual.
