well everything is almost done in my brown to black project except for my carpet...Im gonna get a grey carpet but not sure what kind/brand to get...anyone do this ?...what brand did you use ? ... how long did it take you to swap and did you remove the dash to get it to fit right..
thanks, Rick
thanks, Rick
you can probably cut around the dash area to get it in w/o taking it out, i did that on my 3rd gen when i took the carpet out to clean it. ive seen some crappy aftermarket carpets, you might be able to find a nice used one instead
Ive been considering doing this, just waiting for some extra cash.
Im going to go with these guys, they even sent me some free samples of different colors...

yep, i just redid mine about 1 month ago. i bought from them, stockinteriors. i think i paid $130 shipped. its not to hard, just have to take ot the back seat, door sills, center console, interior b pillar and a few small thing, kick panels. ripping out the old rug is easy/fun cause you got a new one coming in. the only thing is cutting your own holes for the seat bolts, console, thriming for the door sills. i went with a gray and the rug fits snug without any glues. later
