I think JC Whitney has pre cut carpets for most cars, I'd check them out.

you can probably cut around the dash area to get it in w/o taking it out, i did that on my 3rd gen when i took the carpet out to clean it. ive seen some crappy aftermarket carpets, you might be able to find a nice used one instead

You can use remnants from any carpet store. just make sure its nylon. I've seen custom carpets done in the oriental rugs as well.

Do something out of the ordinary. Like Sesame Street. Post pics.

this would be a good time to soundproof your floor too. You can get dynamat or go to home depot and get the roof coating with the sticky back. Works just as good. That's what I have on my roof right now.

yep, i just redid mine about 1 month ago. i bought from them, stockinteriors. i think i paid $130 shipped. its not to hard, just have to take ot the back seat, door sills, center console, interior b pillar and a few small thing, kick panels. ripping out the old rug is easy/fun cause you got a new one coming in. the only thing is cutting your own holes for the seat bolts, console, thriming for the door sills. i went with a gray and the rug fits snug without any glues. later
