I am looking to change my front clear corner blinker lights, right now the blinker lights are clear, so you cannot see them in the sunlight.. I am looking for amber blinker lights in 1156, but for some odd reason, I'm having a hard time finding them here in canada...What do y'all recommend?

 

I don't know about Canadian laws but shouldn't the turn signals be orange? Search for silver vision 1156 on ebay. You'll get like 2134237846923784 listings that'll ship to Canada. That way it'll look clear when it's off and orange when it's lit.

 

all the autoparts stores here sell amber 1156 and 1157 bulbs.

 

Have you ever got a ticket for having clear blinkers?

thanks for the info..I'll check that right now..You're right, the law here states orange blinkers, keep in mind though, I have removed the orange corners and for some odd reason the blinker light was clear?!!!

 

Thats how it was on my taillights. When I did the DTM mod the blinker bulbs were clear so my mechanic automatically put amber ones in for me when he noticed. I'm not sure which bulbs they are or where he got them though. I would assume Napa Autoparts would have them...

This is precisely the reason I made sure that the auction I got my clear corners from on ebay CAME with orange bulbs.
