The Maxima has two sets of belts, right? Drive belt & Acessory belts.

I've been hearing a whining sound on accelaration, but only when the AC is on. Is it the AC belt starting to go?
I was thinking, if I have to change the belt anyways, I might as well get a UDP in the process.

What do you guys think?

 

Yes, there are 2 belts. The whine could be the belt, or the compressor.

 

I had the same problem and fixed it yesterday. Check your Tensioner Assy. They seem to always go bad on these cars....
