just wondering what type of headunits you guys running and which namebrands to stay away from...... also do the 6th gen max. headunits fit? thanks

I'm runnin a Kenwood headunit. Never had a problem with Kenwoods, I stick with them faithfully.. haven't had any complaints yet.. ..?

im riding pine all the way! i love my alpine headunit.. ive had a lot of different brands and then got my alpine and i love it.. anything from jvc to kenwood to clarion to panasonic.. and none of them even compete with the sound quality that the alpine puts out.. just my two cents though.. but bossmoney is right also.. eclipse is good also..

Wow, I don't think I have ever heard Alpine said so much in my entire life. Do yourself a favor and DON'T go into Best Buy or anything like that and get a headunit. My personal Favorites are Blaupunkt and Eclipse. But they are both rather pricey but the sound quality is unparalled. Like 2 da Max said, there is nothing like 5.0 V Pre-Outs. If you go with Blaupunkt go with the Breman MP3 its probably the best thing i have ever heard.

ive had an alpine cda-7897 and cda-9835 both bad *** headunits..
