Question about springs.
I have Maxspeed springs paired up with KYB's. My struts are blown so I'm looking to get the Illuminas. Can I just keep my springs and use them to pair up with the Illuminas? Don't springs last forever or for a really long time?

well it's been a long time probably over 50k miles. and i feel every fukin bump 20x harder than what it felt like when I first had them. even my passengers ask me "wtf is wrong with my car" lol. I can just feel it being horribly blown.

The struts probably aren't blown, there just to harsh for you. Take them out and get yourself a set of Illuminas and start enjoying the ride once again.
The Maxspeed springs are kind of harsh riding as well, consider switching them for a set of H-Techs, H&R's or Progress for a better ride.

no stock struts, i have KYB's. but njmaxseltd, i'm pretty sure they are blown. the ride couldn't have gone from stiff (the way i set them up in the beginning) to just ridiculously harsh without changing the settings at all. I liked my maxspeeds when I paired them up with kyb's, and kinda short on cash to buy another set of springs. but i'll be satisfied with maxspeeds. thanks.

KYB struts are very firm, border line harsh to begin with.
If they are failing, your ride will get softer.
Tires & proper tire pressure also pay a huge role on ride comfort. If your running agressive Z rated rubber and their worn down a bit, bumps in the road become harsh hits as well.
Either way, the Illuminas are a much better riding strut. Just keep in mind that there are other factors that add to harsh ride conditions.

Sorry to thread-jack... Maybe best to carry this on in PM, but I thought I'd second that request.

AGX's are known for their "bouncy" ride on sport springs unless the dampening is turned way up. That was the #1 reason why I got rid of them, the ride suckz.
Sorry guys, my brother is the only person I know who can make them, but he's way to busy to take on small jobs like that. Try a few speed shops in your area to see if they know any shops that will fabricate them for you.
