NEW Spoiler now available!!!

Ionic Dynamics has created a new spoiler for the maxima in Carbon Fiber.
The spoiler is a replica of their already existing spoiler, just in Carbon Fiber.
The quality of this item is superb. The weave pattern is perfect and the clear coat is excellent.
Overall ,the spoiler is a very nice addition to those with existing CF items, and would be a great upgrade for those considering a spoiler other then the OEM version.
Please note that the mounting holes are different then the OEM spoiler.
Included in the spoiler is a brake light, which on this displayed version is in clear which lights up in red when the brakes are applied.
This is the first Carbon Fiber spoiler I have ever seen ( other then the ricer aluminum versiuons).
For all interests and price inquiries, please contact Jose Garcia at info@ionicynamics

It looks to be "taller" than stock. Is it?

It definately looks awesome. But generally you go carbon fiber to weight reduce and you just added a couple of pounds with the spoiler. If I had all the money in the world to sling then yes I would do it, but personally I wouldn't do it because I would be more satasfied knowing I am a couple of pounds lighter. Props to you cause it looks hott.

You are your carbon fiber Ralph.. Car still looking good. I see you also painted the wheels black. Different look.. I think I liked them when they were white just alittle bit more than the black but it is all good. To keep on topic... the spoiler was the missing touch to the cf trunk. Your car is one hellofa ride.

Thanks for the compliments.
The spoiler is NOT a type II nor is it an OEM replica.
Its actually a 300zx J spec wing that Jose modified for the Maxima.

When I wne t with CF items, it was for the look, not for the weight savings.
If I was concerned about weight, I would have gone with Fiber glass(much cheaper) and would ditch the 18's and stereo.

As far as the clear LED, I was considering tinting it just to have it blend in a bit better. Im still debating.

With so much black going onto the car, I finally broke down and had my wheels powdercoated to go with the rest of the Panda theme. I had considered it once before, but backed out.
When the trunk went on, and I knew about the spoiler being produced, that finally convinced me to go with the black wheels.

Another plus for Cf trunk guys who are considering the spoiler, with it on when I pop the trunk now, it doenst fly open like it used to.
With the added weight of the spoiler, it opens real slowly and comes up just enough to grab it. Just about the same as my OEM trunk did.

Tha6ts about as far back as I could go, at least as far back and fell comfortable with it.
From the edge of the trunk, to the post of the spoiler is around an inch.
The under side is another issue to consider. You cannot really go too far back due to the frame.

Ralph:: Thanks for posting the pics up of the new wing!! I really appreciate it I just uploaded some pics on my site with the retail price.

maxima619: I'm glad that you are happy with your kit and trunk, Thanks for the compliments, hit me up this week so we can work on your car.

And to the rest of the members, I'm going to hold a GD on these pretty soon with some other CF bits that I have been working on, don't pay attention to the retail price it will be lower for org members.

Thanks

You know he will. And they would look sick on a white max, especially flavors with all his CF accessories. I hope you get them Flavor.
