Got code 0903

It's the "Evap Vent control valve" I just had my tranny rebuilt and I took it out of the car and put it back in and also replaced my clutch so it's possible that I messed something up. But everything was fine for the first three weeks or driving it. Then the light came on and everytime I reset it it comes back within a day, so I'm not sure if it's related to that. I've been checking hoses that are apart of the EVAP system but I haven't found anything yet that is loose. I'm not sure where the eletrical connection for the EVAP VCV is but I'm going to try and find that and see if it's disconnected. What I don't want to do is spend $80 to get a new one if it was something that would cost me nothing or if it wouldn't fix my problem.

So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The one thing I did notice was that the hose that goes from the intake to the front valve cover is loose. It seems the clamp isn't strong enough anymore. I just didn't think this had anything to do with it because I don't believe that is apart of the EVAP system.

That hose (from the front VC to the intake) is just a breather hose... nothing to do with the EVAP system.

Ok good.

I've been reading through the manual. I'll try those things and see what I come up with.
