In car lights shouldn't matter, and aslong as your license plate frame is neon it should be fine

they could give you a ticket for having red license plate light instead of regular lights. (unclear plates)

i think some of you are confused about the plate light. i kno for sure 96 max's have a 194 bulb. just as i did with some interior lights i would make it red. that means that tthe whole plate would shine a red glow! i won't be using any neons or of that stuff. would it be stupid to call the station near me and ask if its illegal?

Check with a cop before installing. it wouldn't be stupid, at least you asked.

Take off the red light to the license plate. Just asking for trouble. There is a tint law or ordinance and now a noise ordinance state wide. Kind of stupid because a Harley sounds louder than any stereo system I ever heard.

Keep in mind that cops only want to see red and/or blue lights on their cars.

not sure about florida specifically but most states do not allow you to change your license plate courtesy light to anything besides white for visibility purposes.

As far as interior lights as long as they're not visible outside the car so they do not distract other drivers you should be alright.

I don't see why a red light on the rear of the car should be a problem. your tail lights are red. what's the difference?
