is there a way to clean out my EGR. with out taking it offf. i am getting a light now and i cant stand it... i know there is a sticky about something like this but it was no help. can someone help me out........thanks

 

no you'll need to take it off, and try scraping it clean.

 

**** i cant get it off the bolts look so rusty i think they will brack when i try and take it off...

 

Which bolts - the ones on the back of the plenum on the EGR guide tube? soak them in PB blaster.. they are not on that tight.

 

I seccond the PB blaster, just spray it all over them and leave them for a while.

 

ok once i get it off how should i go about cleaning it...

 

Coat hanger or pick or screwdriver, etc. and a lot of air-intake/carb cleaner.
