Suspension changes...

Strongly considering taking out my oe GXE springs and doing a 1 - 1.25 sport drop. Since I'm only going down about an inch, I should be able to do so without changing the shocks/struts. Right? I did this on my civic and drove for 4 years without any problems. What do you think.

Eibach's will be your best bet for only ~1-1.5" drop. However....the back seems to sit just a tad bit lower than the front.

Here's a pic of my Max w/ Eibach's...

You can keep your stock struts......but I wouldnt recommend it. They will end up probably going out sooner or later.

You can get some Tein h techs(about a 1.25 drop) and you should okay for awhile on factory struts, but just save up and be ready to upgrade in a few years.

Should do, that's about all I'm looking for. Do the rest of the suspension in a year or so. It would be too terrible to upgrade wheels now with the stock height, ya know.

do yourself a favor and go with h&r springs over the eibachs. h&r's are only 30% stiffer than you stock spring as opposed to the eibach's 50% and they both have the same drop. stiffer springs require stiffer struts to control them. at least with the h&r's you'll stand a chance for a while. but again.. its not recomended to use your stock struts with ANY lowered spring. im assuming you realize that your old struts have to come out anyway in order to change the springs? do u really wanna pay for the same labor twice?
