Good job NIssan on front marker lights
So I'm removing my front headlights today and when taking off the front marker lights(the ones next to the headlights) I come across a problem. The manual says remove top screw then free up clip and pull straight out. here's the catch: the housing is snapped in to place pretty good in the bottom front corner and the screws holding the bracket on are unaccessible. So I yank and twist and tug and eventually snap the f*er off. Why in the heck they made it that way boggles my mind. I could see no other way to get it off than to snap that tab. Plus the fact that my chiltons doesnt say anything about that clip makes me wonder. I got the reject version of side markers I guess.

The trick is to take the screw out, and manuever the clip above the fender, then pull forward and out. They're sometimes a VERY big pain in the azz...other times not so bad.
No you didnt get the rejected ones

Sucks, I've had real problems with Honda lights. You have to take the brake fluid reservoir off and manuever around a dozen other contraptions. Then you can toy with the impossible spring loaded break trap. From what I've seen so far on Nissan, they aren't as bad. Your situation does however suck. Good luck in getting it back together.
