There are a few different types of springs to drop my max at least 2" but i dont know which one to pick. I want to know the characteristics of each spring; like handling, looks, and ride. Thanks for your help.

I had Eibachs before and I like the Sprints MUCH better. The drop in the front is great, the rear could go down a little more, imo, but still looks good. I really like the ride too. A guy on here had them for around $119+shipping. I think his name was max8mycash. I got mine from him. Southwest Autoworks I believe. Not sure if that deals still on though. I'd see if you could find him on here. I highly recommend the Sprints.

Re: I have Sprints on mine.

I thought that sprints were the only ones with a 2" drop.

I've heard only good things about Sprint. You could be like me and do your own 3.25" drop.

how ?

BrianV , how do you clear your rims and tires with such a big drop, (i have Intrax , theyre great , they say they lower like 1.75, but mine looks a load lower than that , the back is really low , ill try and get some pics) do you scrape a lot on bumps and stuff , i was thinking about going with a 3 inch or so drop, but i wasnt sure if i would have problems.

Only springs with such a low drop are Sprint.

Properly installed Cattman or Ground Control coilovers will allow 3+.

Personally I don't advise more than a 1.5" drop because Nissans lack front suspension travel. Drop it more than 2.5" or 3" and you will be riding on the bumpstops all the time, which is very bad for both your shocks, your handling, and your bodykit as it repeatedly contacts the ground.

Not too many Maximas I know of have a 3" drop, but plenty of our 200SX/Sentra SE-R little brothers have done such low drops, and I can guarantee you that it's not recommended except for the cars which are only driven to and from car shows.

too low agreed

i have coilovers on my car and its slammed to the ground 3". now you say big deal 3" drop. dont forget that i have a dunk exhaust,y-pipe,custom 2.5" piping that hang low too. now i drove the car around for a week then had to raise it because its tooo painful hearing the scrap scrap every where i go. my exhaust now is crap! its scratched like hell and the piping is bent. so a 3" drop all around is pretty tight if your planning to park your car in a parkin lot all day.peace brian

go with the sprint 2" drop. the lower you go the harder it gets.

Spring choice

What is a good recommendation for shocks that should go with the Sprints? I have a set of Weapon R's. Does anyone have an opinion on these?
