Electrical problem in dash
Hope someone can help me with this intermittent problem. I've done a search but haven't found a similar situation.
Once in a while, after driving the car for 10-15 minutes, the power to all of the following will just drop out w/o warning: radio, wipers, side power mirrors, lighter.
The instant I turn the key from 'ON' position to 'ACC' position, the power returns to these four things, and typically does not drop out again until the next time I drive the car.
I looked at a Haynes schematic, but couldn't find a common fuse or link. It seems very odd that the power returns automatically after I turn the key from 'ON' to 'ACC'.
Any ideas?
