I was changing my brakes this afternoon and ran into a problem with the left rear. The piston in the caliper would not depress enough to put the caliper(with the new pads) back on. I tried to bleed the line to relieve some of the pressure but that did not work either. The only thing I could see out of ordanary was that the inside pad was wearing at a slight angle(10 degrees or less) Does anyone have a clue? Please let me know anything. THANKS!!!

 

The rear pistons are the type that must be rotated in a clockwise manner to get them to depress to make room for new pads. Unlike the front pistons which can just be spread. The slight angle might just be from the pad being improperly seated?

Yes they do make a special tool to rotate the piston but just a regular set of needle nose pliers will do the job.
