so i just installed my new ecu (technosquare) and i have a warpseed y-pipe. what can i do next to improve my perfomance? Levitra? jk
im an auto so i kinda wanted to stay away from an 00vi, because i dont want to manualy shift my auto every time. the ecu i bought also did not come with the extended rev. my spending limit is around $1,000 thanks

you dont have to manually shift with an auto and 00vi, you'll just hold the gas down or give more gas to hold that gear longer so you rev higher. Would give lovely gains.

You have a Y and ecu with adds good gains, from here the gains arent as great as what you've already done. for $1k you could run nitrous, there are some tranny mods that could help utilize the power you have.

I'd say save it and use it for something else, or entertain the though of a 5 speed swap.

I thought you couldn't even notice B-Pipe gains? Somewhere I heard UDP wasn't good for autos. Suspension ... boring. LOL I am more for power mods than handling mods. But then again my next mod is a RSTB so we'll see.

its from a 96 and it actually got rid of my cel. i really felt the gain at 3200 rpms and up. i have suspension also check out my car domain
when do you start to feel the 00vi? i heard its around 5200, still contemplating on getting that.
i also heard that the gains were not worth it on the b-pipe.

In order to take full advantage and have your car perform to its best (N/A)with your given mods, you will need some sort of VI, that's all there is to it.

And you don't have to shift at redline everytime with a VI, only when you want a smile on your face, or you're racing.

I tend to do it 5-8 times/day, and I don't race So do the math.

Most UDP's don't produce gains that are even worth it for there price. Actually, almost everything else you can buy is overpriced for the small gains they give. I would say your best bet would be to get the VI. Unlike the MEVI it dosen't rob your low-end power, it actually creates more low-end power compared to the USIM. You could get a UDP, exhaust header, and take out the sound deadener from underneath your carpet in the back of the vehicle. It weighs a pretty good chunk I heard.

Oh, also a few people have given up power steering in order to free up some power.

I don't know why people think of UDP as "Gains". There isn't supposed to be a "dyno" type gain. It just allows you to accellerate quicker. I have decided against 00VI. I am not going to spend any more money on my car until I do 3.5 and 5Spd swap or sell it. Doing the 3.5 Swap throws in a VI when you use the 3.5 IM. I MIGHT do a RSTB and LTB+RSB.

Anyone know how much Blemco LTB is? I was thinking of doing RSB+LTB combo.

If you want to do the 3.5 and 5speed swap, I say just save up for that and do it, no need for a Vi as the 3.5 will have one. Save the $1k you have and your well on your way to the full swap, those gains will be far greater than a udp or 00vi or anything (short of FI)

What about the VB mod I would think that would help out alot. If it was me I'd get VB mod, the UDP and a new muffler. Even if its small gain its still something to me. the whole point to make the car faster so every little bit helps.
