99 gauge cluster in 95 = NO!

So my odometer stopped working and I bought a 99 SE cluster with the digital odometer...and it doesnt use the same size plugs in the back of the cluster just to let you guys know. So if you have a 95 dont buy a 99 SE cluster!

you have to splice all the wires, it's a pain in the a$$ but it works, i bought a set and put it in my 96, the only thing that you cant change is the odometer reading.

Some ppl have actually swapped the '98-'99 clusters into thier '95-'97. Sure there's some elbow grease involved but they've gotten it to work.

cut off the connectors and splice the wires, get yourself a wiring diagram and go to work. most of the wires are the same colors.

last I remember there was an unsolved issue of the odo not remembering the recently added milage? Or was that solved by wiring a constant power source to the guage?

i'd jump on that but im assuming you dont have the 98+ Plugs that go to it, without that you cannot splice into it, you'll need at least the connector to re-wire everything since the 95 connector doesnt even fit into it :-\
